With Much Regret, Another Season Draws to a Close
If you are anything like me, the arrival of fall elicits
mixed emotions. Sure, the turning of the leaves signals the
much-anticipated start of the football season and the approach of
another World Series, it also means the days are rapidly growing shorter
and the morning air has that edge that can only mean winter is knocking
on the door. While the month of October has many fine selling points,
unless you are doing a fall marathon (God bless your souls!), late
October means that yet another racing season is drawing to a conclusion
and the reflection period can officially begin.
Regardless how you’re racing season ended up (good, bad,

completed over 21 Hawaii ironman races). In the interview, Ken outlined
his five steps to racing longevity and while we all may not have racing

I was very fortunate to have several great coaches while growing up in Wisconsin, and can not wait to be able to help those new to the sport!
Who knows - maybe there is a future Lance Armstrong hiding in the student body at NYU!

In Loving Memory of Christian Padova HansonNovember 13, 2006
When God calls little children to dwell with Him above.
We mortals sometime question the wisdom of His love.
For no heartache compares with the death of one small child.
Perhaps God tires of calling the aged to His fold,
So He picks a rosebud before it can grow old.
God knows how much we need them, and so He takes
but few, to make the land of Heaven more beautiful to view.
Believing this is difficult still somehow we must try.
The saddest word mankind knows will always be "Goodbye."
So when a little child departs, we who are left behind
Must realize God loves children.
Angels are hard to find.
