May 18, 2022 Many athletes ask about recovery. In my youth, rest days were a four-letter word, and you did not want to take a day off. How could that make you faster? We lived by the mantra that if you were not training, somewhere, someone was. And when you met them in a race, they would destroy you. Foolish, huh? Now I fully embrace my rest days so my body is recovered and ready for the next level of training.
